went flying this morning.. here are some pics and a vid.
video.. it got kinda bumpy from the thermals coming off the mountain, so i had to shut off the camera and fly the plane

this what a plane built in the 60's with 5000+ hours on it looks like.. it's been around the block 




taxi'ing.. national guard f16's... nothing better than seeing these bad boys take off at night with full afterburner


business jets.. lifestyles of the rich and famous


some general aviation aircraft.. lifestyles of the not so rich and not so famous 

couple of helos

southwest 737... watch out for jet blast

looking back at the tower

taking off from 11L and looking over at the freight terminal

turning out on heading and pitching for best rate of climb

looking out to the right you see the maintenance hangars

looking back on 11L and 11R and the main terminal

oh look, it's just me

looking out over A mountain and north to Oro Valley

still climbing

waterskiing??

bout 8 deg. C

no one back there either

beautiful morning to fly

I would have to disagree... F-15s taking off full burner at night provides TWICE the light show

The pic with the three question marks that has the six white tanks is also Raytheon btw.
Cool pics man. Always wanted to fly in a small plane. I was offered by a friend out in San Diego but they ended up grounding all small planes for a high wind advisory or something.

Even better, F-111's. Not only the light show but an absolute deafening roar.
Anyone here ever seen an pair of F-111's doing a dump-and- burn? HOLY CRAP!

couple months ago there were some F4's doing night flights out of DM....anyone know whose planes they were?....ours or maybe another airforce training at DM?
Only saw them once but sure as hell could hear them a couple of times.

| you want loud try the B1 full burn. anyways we did have some F004's here March for the heritage deal but also AMARG does alot of stuff with the F4's as well.

you know what gets me is they still fly the F4 for airshows and stuff, but when they retired the F14, they said they were making them ALL non operational.
