So Is it just me, or does this forum seem dead? I've been gone from here for a while, bantering around in other forums specific to my motorcycle, which Is new to me. I posted up in here I think, a while ago about it. I just picked up an 07 R1 that is pretty tricked. Came with full documentation about everything too, including dyno sheets showing a max run at 174 hp. So All in all I really like the bike. Just been running into the transition issue between a 6 and a liter bike. Must say I miss my 6, and throwing her through the corners. Sv man, you know what I'm talking about, that zx of yours is the same. But this liter bike just seems bulky and over weight. don't get me wrong. i like it, but ya. Thats my crying story.
I'm actually posting because I got tired of the internet bullying on the national R-1 forum. Just seems so overratted now, and quite honestly, those guys never really tell you anything new when you ask a question. But anyway. How has everyone been?Attachment: 1127091640a.jpg (Downloaded 38 times)

I know what you are talking about.
I had taken my Z1000 and the DRZ400 supermoto to the track. And although the Z was fun and powerful, it was actually more fun to ride the little dirtbike...and overall not THAT much slower for me.
I've sold the Z1000 and bought a dual purpose, cuz that's what I'm exploring right now, but it's still the same thing. I have a big dual sport and the small supermoto and on the trails, I'd MUCH rather have the supermoto. Light is right....sometimes ;-)
And yes, everything is dead here.
I think there's a lot of factors contributiong to it...people moving on to other interests, people taking a break from the forum, etc.
Be safe and nice bike

| Thanks guys, You know, we should really do a nice ride in a bit when the weather warms up a bit. it'd be fun to experience a new crowd, because the same old drama gets old from the other guys i know.
