So lemon claims another crash.
But not the typical sport bike wreck up the mountain, for which I am rather upset about. But nevertheless, it took my bike. I was riding up lemon with my girlfriend, nice, easy sunday afternoon ride, made it about 20 miles up, well past the lookouts, when I came around a corner at about 50 (not hot at all) to find a nice helmet sized rock in the middle of the road. I didn't see it though, but my lower foot sure as hell found it. It hooked my foot, and pinned it between the peg and rock, and stepped the back end of the bike out towards the shoulder. I tried hard as hell to keep it up and on the road, but I lost my line so bad, I slammed on the brakes and said hello to a nice rocky ditch. Tank slapped a few times, and gave up on the bike, because I wanted to make sure my girl didn't hit the wall. So I rolled her and I off the bike, and we went down soft. By this time we were only doing maybe 20-25 mph. which is nothing really. We're sore, and I got the only cuts on my ankle from the peg. We were both wearing full gear.
My bike on the other hand is not so well.
took out both rims, rear one still beads, but has a good dent in it, front won't seat at all. Plastics on the right side are gone, and the lower left broke off with the right. head light is scratched, upper fairing is scratched, broke my water pump cap (which only broke because the hose pulled at it, my frame sliders saved everything else).
But thats the only damage, everything else is fine! even the rear plastics made it out without a scratch. Oh, i have a small dent on my rear swing arm, but it's tiny. all in all, I think I made out lucky.
So if anyone has a front rim for a 2006 kawasaki zx6r they are willing to loan me I would be forever grateful! The only parking permit I own for the university is on my bike, so getting to class will be a pain in the a$$. Or if anyone knows of anyone getting rid of parts for this bike, I would love to catch wind of it.
Thanks guys.

not sure of anyone getting rid of stuff but check out this site. they have a local store front just off Ina & I10 freeway behind the ride now. Tell them Dennis sent you there way.
