I'm not sure of my exact plans, yet.

But, I'm planning on bringing both the Z and DRZ.  Also, Bunneh will be coming with me.  And, we'll be going over Friday night.  These things I'm fairly certain of.

Beyond that, I'm not sure.  I might be going with Sterb, then again, I might be having to drive separate since he wants to bring his 2 bikes as well. Plus, I might need to borrow someone's trailer for that weekend if others want to ride with me.  Lots of "ifs" and stuff and too much to plan out on here, plus I don't know the whole situation yet.

It would be best to get together at bike night and discuss it then instead of going back and forth in a thread that could go on for 10 pages.

I will of course require some kind soul to throw my bike in a truck/trailor and would prefer to spend the night friday in Demning rather than drive out drive back in one day.

I'm In. I might take both bikes, but if someone needs to have a transport, I can put another on my trailer or in the bed of the truck when I swing through Tucson on the way. Where are you guys planning on staying if you go on Friday? I'd like to just crash at the track on Friday night if Roger would allow it. Saves some hotel money and makes pit setup a breeze. Let me know what and when and I'll see you dudes over thanksgiving.

Andrew

--Edit--
How is the money situation going to be handled? Prepay? Pay at the track?

I agree with wonka, I think anyone planning on going should just meet up at bike night (if at all possible) to discuss transportation, lodging, payment, etc....

was at the track this past weekend with the low on fri at 24 drg F and 29 drg F for saturday night.

motel 6 was $38 for me by myself, and would be $45 for 2 people taxes included.  i would split a double room for $23 with someone before i froze my nuts off outside.

We'll have to see how the weather is over the holiday then.  Yearly averages put the high/lows at 62/29.  I'm still gonna pack myself a sleeping bag and throw it in the truck though :D

I figured it might be more useful to post up who's driving (in bold) and when those people are leaving.  So, if you can drive and have room for another body/bike, please post up.

If you need a ride, post up and/or contact a driver.  I'll try to keep the list as up to date as possible.

Also, we may need trailers.  So, if you know of any trailers we can borrow for that weekend, it would be helpful.

I have a single bike trailer someone can use (2 inch ball) as I'll be pulling a bigger open trailer.

For those of you looking for leathers, I just posted a set of Frank Thomas' finest on the sell it thread.

Also added a set of BMW Pro Emotion leather pants.

We need 2 volunteers to help make the logistics all work out.

1) Is there someone who NEEDS or WANTS to go with Dirk on Saturday morning? He’ll be leaving early, I think like 6:30ish. He’ll be there with plenty of time to ride for the day. I’ve gone with him the morning of a trackday and we made it on time.
2) Someone please speak up to ride with Tha Porkchop (Andrew). He’ll be coming through Tucson Friday evening and going on to Arroyo that night with the rest of us.

I was hoping there’d be 1 or 2 more people that might be going who had trucks/trailers, but we can still make it happen without any problems. The problem isn’t enough room/spaces for people who want to go, we have enough room, just not enough for Sterb and I to bring everyone. It’s awesome that we have so many people going and I want to keep it that way, we just need to spread the load among the drivers.

To be honest, I was caught off guard by how many people have committed to going. Usually, most everyone bails as the event gets closer (ride, trackday, etc), but this has been a pleasant surprise.

Look forward to seeing ALL of you guys there. ;-)
