Hi there,

I would like to make the suggestion about lightening the forum. Reason is: now, it is pretty slow to refresh pages even with the high baud rate I got. Plus on cell phone it is not possible to display it.

I would rather sacrifice some gismo to speed it up. For example, if I need weather map, I go to wunderground. The chat room is nice and is definitly a plus for the community, but what about moving pong/fast and faster/road racing into a news page so they don't load each time?

What about something zen and clean: solid color background, no picture, no text scroll, pure plain simple?

I'd prefer to see a cleaner web page too.

My #1 irritation has to be the "turned page corner" at top-right. Can we lose this please? Pretty please with sugar on the top?

While I'm offering constructive criticism, let me add that IMHO there are too many forums on the site. Why not just four or five: "bike stuff", "non-bike stuff", "admin", "classified". The way it's set up right now, active threads are spread too thin; you have to jump around too much. My two cents, worth less tomorrow I'm sure.

I use to have the same problem now, I am using the "rencent" feature and it is just fine.

I agree about the corner page thing. Sometimes it screws up the reply box, and you can't move the cursor where you want it using your mouse, you have to use the arrows to go back and change things, which is annoying.  It was a cool thing when the Ofc. Hite thing was there, but now its advertising a webpage we are already on.  It's like the balancing the budget scene from the movie Dave: "So, we're spending $150 million dollars a year on an ad campaign to make Americans feel good about a car they already own?"

The only thing I dislike is the HOME button, when you push it it launches a BLANK new window instead of taking you back to the home page.

I agree there is a little too much flash/bling going on now.  Also, regular forum posters need to learn they don't need to qoute the post directly above them every time, too.  ...especially when the previous post has a ton of images in it.  I don't need to see the pictures twice, and it makes the thread unneccessarily long.

The moderators could be doing a bit to clean some of this up, IMHO, but they tend to only get involved when bickering occurs or the terms of use are violated.

PAB, if you use firefox, you can try using Adblock to take out a ton of graphics from the page that you don't care about.
