RideNow Powersports Tucson (the one on 22nd). I couldn't believe it either. I don't remember the guys name. This was a conversation over the phone.

Lance: I went there with Mike on Saturday because they called him on Thursday and said his bike was ready and just needed a battery. So we showed up with the battery and the dipshit said "Okay, we'll call you when it's ready." Mike asks how long it should take, and the guy says "one hour... the wires need to be spliced and run back to the rectifier." So we said we'll wait.... Only to have the dumbass say, "uh well he can't get to it till Wednesday. There are other appointments ahead of you."
At this point I'm wondering why he was told that it was ready two days before. Knucklefuck tells me that it would have been done but they needed a battery.... "So in the entire FUCKING STORE, YOU DIDN'T HAVE A BATTERY YOU COULD USE??!! DOES THIS HONESTLY MAKE ANY SENSE? HOW CAN YOU NOT HAVE A BATTERY??!" The we get the classic compout.... "I don't know because they just handed this ticket over to me." So when I asked where the original idiot went, he proudly declared "He doesn't work here anymore. We let him go because of crap like this." Fired....from RideNow... You have to be missing a chromosome to get fired from RideNow. Hell, the employees they keep there probably almost drown in their fucking cereal bowls on a weekly basis. The place has to be sitting on top of a nuclear landfill or something. How can so many idiots converge there to waste space on a regular basis? (I dare not call what they do "working").
I guess the moral of the story is this.....Commiting incest or drinking and smoking while pregnant is discouraged for a reason. If the temptation becomes too great, just stop into a RideNow store and observe the stupid.

Me: It's a Yamaha.

WTF??????
LMFAO !!!!!!
not far fetched .... i know someone that works there, they hired him in sales - no
experience or knowledge with bikes. he truly was clueless.
Try Bikers Bay for service and i think for parts .... i have heard from some of
my 'seasoned have been riding forever' friends that its a good place
because those guys are actually riders themselves.

It seems they have a policy of keeping the experience level to a minimum there.
I wish I could say something good about them but they never give me the chance.

| That whole dealer family is full of complete retards. The ONLY time I would ever buy another thing from them is if, and a big if, they were the only dealer that actually stocked something that no one else in town had. When you go in there to look and somehow the sales person begins to to say that there is no way a 600 could ever be better than a 1000 on the track or street, you should turn around and walk out the door. When you ask for a no B.S. out the door price and they proceed to say they can't do that unless you fill out the papers, you should turn around and walk out the door. Fugg those guys.

Went on the 22nd one for a brake lever. They want to charge me $45. I was surprized and told them it shouldn't be that expensive. They reply it is because of the guard adjustment system. Went home and bought the exact same one from the net at .... $9 !!!!!!
Anyway, I am happy with the Scorpio helmet and the jacket I bought from them.
If you are interested by the white Z1000 they got in hte show room pay attention to the rear saddle, it is ponctured!

Should they apologize to you for tying to do their job as they are told?

Yes, yes they should. If 16 large won't deter the kid, then nothing will.

Well, if you had a pleasant experience at RideNow, go ahead and share with the class. Who knows? A couple of other riders might also share their good fortune. I just wanted to voice my displeasure with the 2 stores in Tucson (at least in the service department). I have yet to meet a RideNow employee capable of using a salad fork correctly, and I thought it was just my bad luck. But judging by the replies, I'm not the only one. Agree? Great! Tell us why. Disagree? Great! Tell us why. That's all I ask.
But please don't insult our intelligence by saying that we "would fit right in as sales people around there". That's just rude.....

I bought my SV from them. They met my terms, simple as that. I don't hold a grudge against them for selling kids with no endorsement liter bikes. The kids should have some common sense. If a salesperson says "You know, there are better choices for a first bike" he has met his ethical responsibility. I hold more of a grudge against car salesmen that sell kids sports cars, those do more damage.
Edit: It just occured to me, the SV is my first street bike. According to some people they were irresponsible selling it me. Nevermind all the irresponsible stuff I do with it on my own volition.

Yeah, let's not get into the irresponsible stuff you do.... I'd sell you a giant bubble for your own protection .
Edit: I've gotta disagree with you about selling liter bikes to kids with no endorsement. I personally don't think they should sell them in that situation. Why do they restrict firearm sales but not motorcycles? They're both fine in the right hands, but extremely destructive in the wrong hands. After all, if Dumbass McCoy goes into RideNow (or any other dealer) and buys a liter bike without an endorsement then proceeds to go on a ride with us, loses control during the ride, and takes out other people in the group, why should we be affected because the idiot didn't have the common sense to work his way up from something smaller?
